Can Exercise KILL CANCER TUMOR Cells?
Exercise is Medicine and is an effective means to help control the spread of metastatic cancer! In this study, researchers investigated the impact of high shear stresses, experienced during exercise, on circulating tumor cells (CTCs) using a microfluidic system. They found that these high shear stresses effectively destroyed CTCs, providing valuable insights into potential strategies for combating cancer metastasis. This finding highlights the potential role of physical activity in cancer treatment and underscores the importance of understanding the interplay between mechanical forces and cancer biology.

Watch out for added colours, preservatives, stabilizers and other chemicals in commercially packed preserves, pickles, spices, condiments, etc. Take even turmeric and coffee. Few people know that apart from the above-mentioned additive chemicals, these powders can be poisoned with dyes - yellow cadmium in the case of turmeric, apart from being contaminated with fungus, in the case of coffee - as well as coconut, cocoa, and many, many more.

The problem with living at home if you are truly unable to take care of yourself is that only an RN can give you your medicine. That is assuming you have to go through an agency to find home care helpers. Assisted living helps with this until you can’t walk. Once you are not mobile you do need 24 hour help. Even if your family helps it is almost impossible to lift and transport the person to the bathroom, etc. Serious falls for my Mom, my Aunt and my mother in law resulted in nursing homes.

I've already told my sons that when I need it, put me in a nursing home. I won't fight them about it because I trust their judgement and I don't want to be a burden on them. Right now, at 81, I am able to take care of myself without any problem, but I know a time will come when I will need help to do the basic things. As long as I can read and listen to the radio I'm pretty sure I can handle anything else.

At 72 I began feeling terrible pain in my toes, feet, ankles and knees. Every step was agony. Sleeping on my back, the weight of a sheet caused so much agony pressing on my toenails to waken me in near-tears. Soon after, I began feeling pain and numbness in my fingers, thumb, wrist and elbows. I was losing sensation in my fingers and hands. Saw a Rheumatologist, got Xrays of all affected joints. Dr. said I had osteoarthritis, normal wear/tear and nothing I can do to lessen or stop it. But he could give an RX. for meds. My D.O. suggested this was likely allergic inflammation - give up all meat, processed foods, sugar, salt, dairy, eggs, etc. and go to a plant based diet. I took her advice. Within 30 days all my debilitating, painful symptoms went away!!! And, I was scheduled for a Medicare paid cataract operation on my left eye. It took a year, but my cataract disappeared. - If I "cheat", I will feel pain in my joints within 6-12 hours after cheating. 2 forkfuls of turkey thigh caused pain in my knees for over 3 days! I can eat fish/seafood and angus beef. - I think my osteo-allergy might be related to all the chemicals injected into animals to speed maturity/fatten them for slaughter/etc. And all the chemicals used by farmers on their crops and the big food companies’ processed foods. - The cancer causing chemical in Roundup is being sprayed onto corn and grains to make it easier for farmers to harvest crops with the big combines. I can add to the story. I met a waitress in Sulphur Springs, TX whose large intestine ruptured, also destroying her gall bladder. Somehow she was saved at the local hospital. When she heard my story, she told me hers. She has to eat only meat and vegetables grown from the farm of her family where no additive are used on the foods she eats. Two days later we were in Vicksburg, MS and I was talking with an 18 year old waitress who suddenly had her gall bladder "explode" (her description). She also was directed to avoid processed foods and meats from feedlots. If she is "careful", she will not feel continuing illness. - Is the poisoning of Americans like us being caused by the food industry and the additives that have international markets denying USA meats and processed foods from almost all global "banned" food lists??!!!!

I am afraid he made it all too simple. First of all he is young and active (hard to understand that elderly persons reality) Did not mention the person living alone with no immediate family anywhere near them. The older parent does not want to leave the home they have been living in all or most of their lives and is unwilling to move where one of their kids live. Case in point the person that I describe is unable to walk due to complete loss of cartilage in their knees and has been determined to be too old to go through the knee replacement surgery. The person is 87 years old ( I am not against a person of that age, but can understand if that person cannot move as is important in a day to day environment that something has to be done) OK, so the kids brought in help two and three times a week, but was difficult as the 87 year old had difficulty getting along with some of them who were constantly being changed to other people or other people were not always available. Then, the dementia thing came into play. My wife and I went to visit her from another state. When we arrived she had fallen and could not get up to open the door, which was locked. Fortunately, she had a lock box and we knew the combination for the key and were able to get in. She had a "life alert system", but her kids elected not to have it with internet connection. (Don't ever do this without an internet connection or your money is wasted) She was wearing a life alert with a button. I asked if she had pressed the button and she said, "what button". Fortunately, we arrived when we did, as her next care giver would not arrive for three days! She could not move, and could not get to a phone on the other side of the room. And, she has other issues as well. She had broken her hip when she fell, was taken to the hospital where she had surgery the following day. After much deliberation she was moved by ambulance to a rehab facility/assisted care/nursing home near one of her children. The combination of senior situations is many and large, and it is unlikely that any two are alike. This fellow's description made it appear that all you have to do is these three things and all will be good and you will never have to go into a nursing home. I will be 80 years old next year and am currently healthy, both mentally and physically. Every day I exercise both body and mind. I teach a monthly class at the local library and am about to join another arts group in the area. I don't want to end up in a nursing home either. Every one as they age (that is all of us) need to keep in mind that some day they will get old. If they don't concisely keep their mind and body in tune they will regret it when the day that they realize that they are old and then wish that they had done the things to keep themselves healthy. Then, it may be too late and end up in a nursing home that costs them or their kids 6 to 10 thousand dollars a month!

I can't find an answer on the internet to the benefits of swimming. The water acts as resistance and I am building up muscle, but do you have to have body weight on your bones to help with severe osteopenia?

It s crazy Seniors are living longer lives than ever before , not to sound cold but is this a good thing? If they’re in good health of body and mind, maybe. If not it’s very, very , hard on the family

After what happened in Nursing homes in the UK during COVID they for me are the most feared places to be 😟 It’s worth making every effort to stay fit and healthy and to say No to any family who want to uproot you from your independence. 🤗

Why is there always a reason behind this?
